Media Good or Bad

I think kids should be allowed to text at around the age of 12. But the parents should get a phone were the kid should only be allowed to text like 5 people so they don’t end up texting random people also if they lose the phone it wouldn’t really matter because the phone will be very inexpensive. When it comes to like “Facebook” I think the parents should base that off of how mature the kid is if he/she is a kid who will friend random people and put up bad pictures. Then wait until the kid has matured but if it is a kid who will only friend people he knows and will not put up bad pictures then I think it is ok for him/her to have a “Facebook”.

Should students be able to bring in their own electronic devices?

 

I think that schools should let student bring in their own devices because it allows students to stay up to date with the world changing around them and also with the use of electronics will reduce the amount of paper we use in school. Also the electronics will be the most up to date soft wear. Also the students will be less distracted by their phones or iPod’s because they will be able to use them anyway. Some schools are already going to trade in their text books for the iPad.
